Prototype printing policy

At Vita3D Tech, we offer prototype printing services to help bring your designs to life. Please review the following terms before submitting your files:

3D Printing Materials

1. ABS-GF (Glass Fiber Reinforced ABS)

✅ Benefits:

  • Increased stiffness and dimensional stability compared to standard ABS.
  • Lower warping than regular ABS.
  • Higher heat resistance (~105°C).
  • Good impact resistance while maintaining moderate flexibility.

❌ Cons:

  • Prone to some warping, especially on large prints.

🔹 Best for: Industrial components, outdoor enclosures, and durable prototypes needing moderate stiffness and heat resistance.

2. PA6-GF (Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon 6)

✅ Benefits:

  • Very strong and tough with good impact resistance.
  • More rigid than standard PA6 (Nylon 6) but retains some flexibility.
  • High-temperature resistance (~120°C).
  • Lower moisture absorption than unfilled Nylon, improving dimensional stability.

🔹 Best for: Heavy-duty mechanical parts, industrial applications, gears, and high-wear components needing toughness with rigidity.

3. PA6-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon 6)

✅ Benefits:

  • Much stiffer and stronger than standard Nylon 6.
  • Less flexible than PA6-GF, making it better for structural applications.
  • Higher dimensional stability – reduced warping compared to PA6.
  • Higher heat resistance (~140°C) compared to PA6-GF.

🔹 Best for: Aerospace, automotive, drone frames, and structural components requiring high strength, stiffness, and heat resistance.

4. PET-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced PET)

✅ Benefits:

  • Stronger and stiffer than PETG while maintaining low warping.
  • Better heat resistance than PETG (~80-90°C).
  • Minimal moisture absorption – doesn’t require extensive drying like Nylon.
  • Easier to print than PA6-CF, making it more user-friendly.

❌ Cons:

  • Less heat-resistant than PA6-CF or PPA-CF.
  • Can be brittle under extreme loads.

🔹 Best for: High-strength enclosures, mechanical parts, and functional prototypes needing stiffness.

Final Recommendations Based on Application

  • Best for General Strength with Low Warping: PET-CF
  • Best for High Heat & Pressure Tolerance: PPA-CF
  • Best for Impact Resistance & Toughness: PA6-GF
  • Best for Structural Stiffness & Strength: PA6-CF
  • Best for Easy-to-Print Industrial Strength: ABS-GF

Policy

1. Print-As-Received Policy

  • All prototype prints will be produced exactly as submitted.
  • No modifications, resizing, or adjustments to dimensions, tolerances, or design structure will be made by our team.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the submitted file, including measurements, fit, and overall specifications before sending it for printing.

2. Accepted File Formats

  • We accept STL (.stl) and OBJ (.obj) files only.
  • Ensure your file is properly optimized for 3D printing before submission.

3. No Refunds or Reprints Due to Design Errors

  • As we print directly from the files provided, we are not responsible for design flaws, incorrect dimensions, or compatibility issues once the print is completed.
  • Refunds or reprints will not be offered due to errors in the submitted design.

4. Print Quality & Surface Finish

  • Prototypes are printed using standard 3D printing methods, and minor surface imperfections (layer lines, slight texture variations, etc.) are expected.
  • If a functional defect occurs due to a printing issue on our end, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your prototype with clear photos for review.

5. Lead Time & Production

  • Production time varies depending on the size, complexity, and material of the prototype. Estimated turnaround times will be provided upon request.

By submitting your file for printing, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
